ClearPath Orthodontics organized Certification Course for Orthodontists

ClearPath Orthodontics on Sunday 6th MAR 2011, organized its certification course for orthodontists in association with Noida Orthodontic Study group and Sudha Rustagi Dental College. Reportedly, this is the fifth time ClearPath has conducted such course in India. It was held at the premises of the India Habitat Centre on Lodi Road.

More than 25 orthodontists and PG students, including Dr (Col) N K Ahuja, the recently elected IOS president, Dr Gurkeerat, Dr Deepak Rai, Dr Ashish Gupta, Dr Anup Kanase and other dignitaries, attended the course. This was the first in their newly introduced series of certification courses where ClearPath and the IOS study groups jointly conduct courses. The course aims at educating and training Orthodontists and PG Students on the usage of latest technologies, in the field of Orthodontics, like ClearPath Aligners.

Dr Nikhilesh Vaid, a leading orthodontic consultant and an expert in aligner treatment who practices at the Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai conducted the session. The participants were given comprehensive training on various aspects and processes involved in this technology like biomechanics of aligners, case selection, case submission, digital diagnostic setup, products & pricing, clinical cases and special impression technique such that they can start a ClearPath case the very next day after training.

ClearPath has successfully developed the state of the art CAD/CAM technology for 3D processing & manufacturing of hygienic & removable clear aligner solutions. ClearPath treatment is a series of aligners involving high levels of Skills, Experience and Technology at every step to give precise tooth movements. Reportedly, there are only two companies in this world who have this technology.

According to the company officials, ClearPath has also introduced a new pre-treatment service wherein the orthodontists can get their case reviewed for free by mailing the intraoral photographs to freecasereview@clearpathdental.com

More than 300 practicing orthodontists from various Indian cities & states and countries such as Sri Lanka, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain & Taiwan got registered and showed high optimism in ClearPath’s Clear Aligner Treatment.

The scientific session delivered by Dr Khaled Abouseada & Dr Ataat Khan on 19th December gathered widespread appreciation.

The training & certification course on 20th December reached full capacity in no time. The participants were trained in various aspects like case selection, case submission, digital diagnostic setup, products & pricing etc by Dr Ataat Khan. More than 13 clinical cases of all varieties were presented by Dr Khaled Abouseada. Participants were also trained by him on special double layered PVS impression technique required for ClearPath’s Clear Aligners.

ClearPath’s initiative at the 5th SOS in Riyadh gathered wide-spread acknowledgement & appreciation by various stalwarts of Orthodontia who had visited from all over the world.

Most notable among them were Dr Ravindra Nanda, who visited ClearPath stall & endorsed the new & improved mechanism of clear aligner treatment introduced by ClearPath and applauded the efforts in revolutionizing the field of Orthodontia..
